MindMINT

MindMINT – A Digital Tool to Promote a Positive Mindset and Greater Participation of Female Students in STEM Fields

Against the background of the low percentage of women in STEM professions throughout Switzerland, this project aims to promote the participation of female students in the STEM field with the help of a newly developed digital interactive mindset tool. In lower secondary school, which is sensitive to the development of career paths, the digital mindset tool intends to change female students  perspectives on STEM competences and their career perspectives in the STEM field by adapting the globally successful mindset interventions for the STEM. Female students should be encouraged to choose STEM school projects and to consider STEM professions in their career choices (e.g. trial apprenticeships) or profile selection process.
