In the context of higher education, students are expected to be highly self-regulated in their learning. The ability to self-regulate learning is considered a crucial factor for academic success. Previous research has shown that students struggle to successfully regulate their learning, which can lead to lower grades, longer study durations, or even dropouts. For this reason, this project aims to develop online training courses for a student portal (Studiport) that aims to strengthen the self-regulation skills of motivation and time management among first-year students in the introductory phase of their studies.
